Just came back from 8hours long CO practice...
Feeling super grumpy now..
I thought a concert should be something fun, something worth anticipating, a chance for us to showcase our musical skills to the public, for us to show that the quarrels that we have with our parents when we keep going for practices during the SYF season was worth it.. I thought it will leave very good memories that I have with the J2 seniors.. But I was wrong.
Its so troublesome, so stressful, and especially demoralising... Getting naggings, scoldings, criticism, sacarsm every single practice was not the impression that I have towards Chinese Orchestra, until I came to ACCO.. I really think that it will end after SYF, I was totally looking forward to the next practice after SYF ended, really, because it will be more relaxing and enjoyable then, without the stress of not getting Gold. But yea, I was disappointed... I didn't join a CCA to spend so much money on clothes and INSTRUCTOR FEES, I joined because I thought it will add colours to my JC life...
Not that I really HATE co to the core, of course.. I love my friends there, although they came in touch with their instruments this year, but I really admire the way they treat practices seriously, always doing their best to improve, and never giving up... In sec1, the self motivation that I have was sooooo much lesser than them... haha.. Me salutes you guys! :)
I'm just venting my frustrations, if not I think I'll burst... hehe:) And my dear senior, I dont get angry easily laa... The only chance of making me angry its only when I'm being scolded for nothing.. really..Okay, maybe I was disappointed at times, when you leave me alone to do admin stuffs, yea, like a lonely child... But other than that, I'm really fine! :)
I hope this post doesn't cost me to lose my chance to be in exco...But I think its almost impossible for me to get in too, I have too little connections in CO, especially with the pres, but I'm happy with my status quo... :)
Feeling much better now... after all the ramblings.. thanks for your listening ears... :D
